Geocache Description:


I would say that the Sanford family cemetery has been forgotten if not for the recent DAR recognition you'll find here. This family lived in the area in the late 1700's and early 1800's. All the marked graves/memorials have the same carving. Check out the 200+ year old stone wall and the even older cedar trees here. You're looking for a clear plastic container with a variety of swag very near. I would not hunt this cache after a rain due to the conditions of the road. It is hardly ever traveled. Happy Caching!!
