This is part of a series of 24 caches which are placed on a
circular walk around The Creetings via footpaths, country lanes and
the remnants of ancient Suffolk green lanes which were formerly
used as highways, but are now footpaths. The final cache #24 is a
bonus with the co-ordinates available in the series numbers #22 and
#23.

#8 Creeting Fens
Can be a bit boggy in winter and overgrown in summer, but the
footpath is well waymarked through a cottage driveway and has
boardwalks and a proper wooden bridge over a brook. A good area for
wildlife, the fens are home to the elusive woodcock, tree creeper,
tawney owl, great spotted woodpecker and the scarce tree sparrow,
joined in summer by willow warbler and chiffchaff.
