For more than a hundred years, the little town of Eatonville has been a waypoint on the way to Mount Rainier. Originally a lumber town, today it is home to a combination of commuters who work in Puyallup and Tacoma, rangers who work at Mount Rainier National Park, and small business owners who provide services to residents and travelers.
This puzzle will take you to a corner of one of Eatonville's cemeteries, which honors a significant piece of the town's heritage: the Japanese-Americans who were an integral part of the early lumber trade. Many of them lived here with their families, were born here, and were buried here, sometimes in unmarked graves. A local boy scout troop, a few years ago, restored this important piece of the town's history.

The posted coordinates will take you to a good place to park. From there, enter the cemetery and go to its northwest corner. Two early town pioneers hold the secret to where the final cache is hidden. Unfortunately, they took the secret with them to their graves. Fortunately, they left clues behind that will help you reproduce it!
Find the coordinates with help from Mr. Kawato and the son of Mr. Kondo. When you find their hidden clues, calculate the coordinates as follows:
A = Mr. Kawato
B = Mr. Kondo
C = A + B
D = B - 2A
The cache is at N 46º 52.ACC W 122º 16.BBD, and is not located inside the cemetery. You can check your answer for this puzzle on Geochecker.com, but you'll probably just want to solve it in the field. The full checksum of the coordinates is 51. Happy hunting!
