Pleasant walk along a country footpath over stiles. Great place for picking blackberries, sloes, haws, elderberries and crab apples.
My children named this place natures larder because we often come here to pick berries for pies, jams and of course Sloe Gin! So bring a container in late autumn!!!
Best parking is outside the church at N52.25.718 E001.06.017 then walk north east up lane away from the village. The footpath begins up a driveway on the left hand side. You can access this cache from the other end of the footpath at N52.26.214 E001.06.117 but there is no real parking place and there is livestock in the fields you will need to cross for part of the year.
Can be a bit muddy at times and the stiles will limit access for some. Also this area is rabbit city, so the path can be uneven in places.
