On a small koppie overlooking the Noordhoek Valley
Unfortunately the route into Noordhoek valley and towards the site of the old Noordhoek Amphitheatre cache is private property and recently fenced off so one cannot descend down the path. It has a rather foreboding sign warning proceeding any further, and indeed I have seen two puff adders in the vicinity. So in effect, one has to hold at the outer marker. This cache is not at the marker but on top of the koppie slightly further up the mountain.
Proceed up the trail and leave the path at S34 04.703 E018 22.479 after rounding a boulder. From here boulder hop your way up the spine before reaching a cairn where someone has left their two pence worth. The cache is situated slightly to the left at 482m. From the cairn enjoy the spectacular views of the Noordhoek basin, houses of the De Goode Hoop estate below and back towards the Sentinel and Hout Bay.
