Rarotonga is the main island in the Cook Islands, a delightful tropical island in the Pacific, a lovely place to holiday – and you can also find a few geocaches. It is about 30km around the island. There are many wonderful places to stay on the island, and lots to see and do.
This cache is near the main town of Avarua. The cache is being held by the owner of the small building, who has agreed to maintain it. (A spoiler photo below)
Unfortunately, this is a high muggle area, and the cache had gone missing more than once from its original hiding-place. It should now be safe to leave TBs or coins here.
It now seems this cafe is unlikely to open again. If you do get there and find the cafe still closed, please email me a photo, and I'll advise what you can do.
I'm working on alternatives. Please read my logs of 1 July 2013
Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian.
