There are big bears in this forest, so Teddy found himself a hideout. To find Teddy's cozy den follow the coords posted in each stage and be prepared for some cross-country trekking. The listed coords on this cache page are for Teddy 1, the first stage. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE ROCKS OR ANY ATTACHED COORDINATES!!!
Follow driving directions to the Hardscrabble Trailhead on Hardscrabble Mesa Rd in Pine, AZ. This gravel road is well-maintained and OK for passenger cars. Limited parking is available at these coords: N 34° 22.289 W 111° 28.780. Follow the Walnut Trail #251 until you are approximately 450 feet from GZ. Then head cross country toward the cache, staying on higher ground southwest of the ravine. The distance from parking to Teddy 1 is about 0.17 miles. The total one-way distance to the final stage is approximately 0.4 mile.
