El
Roque Bentayga es una de las formaciones rocosas
más singulares de la isla de Gran Canaria (Canarias,
España). Se halla dentro de la caldera volcánica de
Tejeda, en el municipio del mismo nombre, en pleno corazón
de la isla.
El Bentayga posee unos pitones basálticos típicos de
la estructura geológica de Gran Canaria. Su altura es de
1.404 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
Cerca del roque se encuentran los antiguos asentamientos
aborígenes de Cuevas del Rey y Roque Camello, que constan de
un centenar de cuevas con habitaciones, enterramientos, silos, etc.
En el lado oriental de la base del roque se halla el llamado
“almogarén del Bentayga”, construcción
que debió ser lugar de culto de los aborígenes. Un
muro de piedra que recorre la base del roque por sus lados este y
sur podría delimitar el espacio sagrado, aunque otras
fuentes apuntan su utilización como baluarte defensivo.
Recientemente se han dado a conocer varios grabados rupestres en
alfabeto líbico-bereber, aunque hay dudas de su
autenticidad.
Desde el lugar del caché, en un día claro tenemos
unas vistas impresionantes del Teide, en la Isla de Tenerife.

Bentayga
Roque is one of the most unique rock formations on the island of
Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain).
It lies within the Tejeda caldera, in the municipality of the same
name, in the heart of the island.
The
pythons Bentayga has some typical basaltic geology of Gran
Canaria. Its height
is of 1,404 meters above sea level.
About
roque settlements are the former Aboriginal and Cuevas del Rey
Roque camel, consisting of one hundred rooms caves, burials, silos,
etc..
On the eastern side of the base of the rook is called "the Bentayga
ALMOGAREN" construction that should be a place of worship of the
aborigines.
A stone wall that runs along the base of the rook by its eastern
and southern sides could define the sacred space, although other
sources indicate its use as a defensive stronghold.

Die
Pythons Bentayga hat einige typische Basalt Geologie der Insel Gran
Canaria. Seine

Wehrsiedlung anzugeben.
Haben vor kurzem wurden mehrere Felszeichnungen in libyschen
Berber-Alphabet, obwohl es Zweifel an der Authentizität
sind.
Von
der Stelle des Cache, an einem klaren Tag haben wir einen
atemberaubenden Blick auf den Teide auf Tenerife.

Si trova all'interno della caldera Tejeda, in comune con lo stesso
nome, nel cuore dell'isola.
Il
pitoni Bentayga ha qualche geologia tipici basaltica di Gran
Canaria. La sua
altezza è di 1.404 metri sul livello del mare.
A
proposito di insediamenti Roque sono l'ex aborigena e Cuevas del
Rey cammello Roque, composta da un centinaio di camere grotte,
sepolture, silos, ecc.
Sul lato orientale della base della torre è chiamata "la
ALMOGAREN Bentayga" costruzione che dovrebbe essere un luogo di
culto degli aborigeni.
Un muro di pietra che corre lungo la base della torre con i suoi
lati orientale e meridionale potrebbe definire lo spazio sacro,
