Jack in the Forrest Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

FiveFrogs: From the beginning, caches seems to disappear often in this park. Moving the cache location helped but over the years we've learned that replacing the container a couple of times per year is just how its going to be. Its now time to turn this location over to someone else that can put forth the effort needed to maintain a cache in this park..

Geocache Description:

This is the S.S. Forrest Park. The locals call it the walking park. At times there is a parade of walkers on the 1 mile long wavy trail. The park was built in 1984 with donations from local residents. At the North end of the park is one of the many pump jacks in the area that bob their heads perpetually day and night. In the park, I was able to find one good spot for a regular sized cache that will fit trade items and trackables. The cache is within sight of the pump jack.

The park and cache are wheelchair accessible. The best parking is on the road on the west side of the park. Look out for handicapped parking only signs, as there are several. Also, please be stealthy while searching for this one. As you'll notice, much of the park is visible to the surrounding community.

Our team has tried to make this cache interesting amidst a sea of drive up micros. If you like this cache, give it a favorite point.

This cache has been placed with permission of the city of Seminole.
