How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A Payload of Pirate's Plunder Placed in Proximity to Phillipsburg, PA.

A Playful Phantom Pirate Placed this Priceless Packet Post-humously. Its Position is Precariously close to the Path without Padlock or Posted Police to Protect it or Prevent People from Pursuing it. So, Please Proceed as Promptly as Possible to Personally Pillage this Prize . Pick up your GPSr and Put it in your Pocket. Pump up your Parents, Pack up your Pet, and Persuade your Pals to Participate. Don't Procrastinate or Piddle around. This Proposition should be your Primary Priority.

It's The Alphabet Game (T.A.G.). We've all played it. You try to find things that start with the letters of the alphabet and the first one to get all the letters wins. Now you can play T.A.G. while geocaching in Centre County.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This cache continues the second wave of T.A.G. caches. As you do these caches, please be aware that MI15Team also plans to publish a T.A.G. Challenge so they can reward and recognize families, teams, and individual geocachers that are enjoying this series with a high degree of spirited participation. They haven't finalized all details but the T.A.G Challenge will recognize those that either actually complete the entire alphabet or earn enough bonus points while logging alphabet related caches to qualify. The twist will be that you won't be able to qualify just by finding each cache. To qualify your find for the T.A.G. Challenge you'll need to do AT LEAST ONE of the following: 1) leave or swap a trade item that can be named or described using the appropriate letter, or 2) Log your find on geocaching.com with a creative use of alliteration (doing both would earn a bonus point).
