Arrr, this cache be created by Alex, age 13. Beware
the mind of a 13 year old!! The posted coordinates be a wonderful
dock whar ye can anchor ye pirate ship. Aye, me parrot concurs.
Also, the island 'tis closed at dusk due to vicious, evil pirates,
so don't be searching then!
Arrr, there be two waypoints and a final! Ye will
find a map in WP2 that will lead you to the final.
One day Pete the Pirate plundered a treasure map,
but then Polly the Parrot flew off with it. When Polly flew back
she had this perfectly perplexing puzzle clutched in her
foot:
- Ahoy, count the number o' cogs on the island.
Let this = A
- Count the number o' slides in the island (we be
countin' double slides as just one). Let this =
C
- Aye, what is the single-digit number not found
on a clock. Gar. Let it = E
- Count the water fountains (in the play area) and
let that number = H
- Count the bars in the xylophone and allow this
to = I
- Stand at the barbeque in Big Finn Hill park, and
walk to a curved, unmoving bridge before 'tis dark. Since at dusk
the island 'tis haunted by a vicious, evil pirate! Once at the
bridge, go underneath and hunt around for a number surrounded by
arrows. Let it = G
- Along the line ye marched is a sign, that
welcomes ye to the island. While you be here, please read the sign:
This here playground is for pirates from aged D to
12.
- Aye, from th' sign post at which ye stand,
nearby there be a spot to eat a feast when it be sunny. When yer
rations be gone, count th' seats an' let this =
B
- After this tally the boards on the top o' th'
table an' let this = F
When ye be done solvin' th' puzzle, then ye be
settin' sail for
- N 47 AB.CDE (checksum = 28)
- W 122 1F.GHI (checksum = 20)
to find his treasure map.

Beware the muggles ye might meet upon th' path or ye
be havin' to walk the plank! Should ye choose to find the treasure,
ye don't be wantin' to end up in Davy Jones' Locker so beware the
particularly perilous bridge. It be not particularly secure nor
sound.
Ye be looking for cammo lock & locks. Ye
have no need to stray far from the path or be bushwhackin'. The
coordinates be bouncy, but once ye come 'cross the treasure map, ye
should jus' be usin' it. The X really does mark th' spot,
Grrr.
Congratulations
to DrTusk on the FTF!
