Geocache Description:


Riley Loves Animals!


 Riley, our youngest son, wanted to create a cat themed cache. He had enough different criteria that we ended up with two different cat caches. This is one of them. He thought about where a kitty would like to eat lunch and decided this place was perfect. This is also Riley's favorite place to eat lunch.

The cache is either a large micro or very small small. Matt has affixed a matchstick container inside kitty. Please do not overtighten the container when closing. Thanks!

This is meant to be an easy find. Kitty is hiding in a typical northwest hiding spot. Riley really wants people to be able to find it, so we are adding photos if you want help or want to find it more quickly during a busy time. We marked it a two star difficulty based on the stealth needed during busy muggle times.

Congratulations to kissinatthecache, TeamCacheFinder, sjcarlson5639, & crs98 on their FTF! Sounds like a party!

Two things to keep in mind.
  • Search behind the stump. It will give you cover (and that is where it is!!)
  • We would like to make sure this is a fairly easy hide, there is no need to cover this guy up, he already blends in well.

Replace the cache. It is now a white kitty, so it should be a bit easier to see, so a bit of cover on top may be a good idea. Hopefully this kitty can not run off!

OK, I know there are signs near the cache that LOOK like Wetland signs, but I have confirmed these signs are just indicating there is a stream. The image below show the "Stream" sign that is near the cache. Notice it says nothing about staying out, etc. It is similar to a Wetlands sign, which explicitly states not to enter.

So, it may be in a high muggle area which may put you off, but don't worry about tromping through Wetlands, this is not a Wetlands area!
