Geocache Description:

Nukuhou Salt Marsh cache




The Nukuhou Salt Marsh is formed where the Nukuhou river enters the Ohiwa Harbour. The site contains the best and largest examples of esturine and freshwater wetland vegetation, mangrove shrublands and wetland manuka shrublands in Ohiwa Harbour. There is offroad parking, with a track from the carkpark that leads up to the lookout. Cache is a small systema container located on a walkway out to the Salt Marsh viewing platform.
