Another in the series of Borrego Steel Artworks.
These sculptures, commissioned by Dennis Avery, are placed all over
the desert floor of Borrego Springs and range from eagles to
mastodons, to dinosaurs. Maps are available at the linked web site
and well worth the day it will take to see all of them. I'm going
to try and put a micro at many of them, so have fun finding them.
This particular micro is about the size of a film canister with a
magnetic lid. Not enough room for pen or pencil, so bring your own.
I was able to get three dimes in it for the first person to find
it. The cache is out in the desert, reachable by most cars on a
dirt road leading from the end of Anzio Drive off of S3. A high
ground clearance vehicle might be advisable. I gave the listing a
2.5 for difficulty, because of the nearly eight foot reach to get
to the cache.
Congratulations to Fossillady and FlatBlack
for the FTF!
