Geocache Description:

This is a magnetic nano in Galway City Centre. Now that we have a nano cache, does that make us a proper city??

The cache is hidden in the Spanish Arch area of the city. The arch was built in 1584 as an extension of the city walls. It was originally known as 'An Paoirse Caoch' or 'The Blind Arch'. There is no actual spanish connection!

As this is quite a touristic spot in Galway, there is often muggles in the vicinity. If you are hunting this cache on a sunny day it will be particularly busy. Also, beware the proliferation of a more inebriated variety of muggle!

Initials only in log please!

Enjoy.
