A bison tube hanging around a small cove on Tavernier Key. Parking is at trailhead.
This cache hangs hidden in the mangroves at a place I hold dear in my childhood memories. A short walk along a well tread path will take you to a small cove in Tavernier Key. This palce was a treasure for me and my childhood friends who would frequent the place to get away from the grown-ups. We would fish, star gaze, and talk well into the night. The area was once very secluded and little known, but now there is little privacy at this spot. As nearby development has crept in upon this old haunt of mine. I have been forced to share so enjoy your visit! Please, please tread lightly and practice CITO.
