This is a straight forward cache. Nothing to special about it other than the location. Although the Terrain is marked at a 3, this cache is very seasonal and the terrain will vary drastically over the course of the year. Keep in mind that Broadmoor Lake is not suitable for swimming!
Typical cache, with typical traders and a FTF prize.
Broadmoor Park is the center of many celebrations in Sherwood Park including fireworks on Canada Day and New Years Day.
There is a great park nearby for the kids, plenty of nice walking trails around the lake, and in the winter, a part of the lake is cleared for skating.
Close to Kinsmen Leisure Center and Festival Place, Broadmoor Park has been visited by almost everyone in Sherwood Park at one time or another.
Now for you geocachers, there is another reason to visit.
