Kumano Shrine, which houses the guardian deity of the Takahara area, is also known as Takahara-oji Gongen. It is not one of the 99 Kumano ojis, but it is a historical shrine along the Kodo route, known for its enshrined kakebotoke with an inscription from 1403.
