A track junction on the main track on top of the ranges between Tapu - Coroglen Road and Thames.
If off the Tapu road the track starts at the summit so no hills to climb. The DOC sign says 3 hours. Also 3 hours from Waiomu and about the same from Te Puru. From Thames the sign says 4 and a half hours. Ths is ruggered bush with good tramping boots and gear need as the weather can change up here. Not too wet in summer. Check other nearby caches and pln your trip
