While physically this looks like NSW, you'll actually be going interstate for this one. A park entry fee of $11 may be required.
The cache originally holds some Australia Day goodies for the first few finders. It will bring you to the edge of this littoral rain forest between ther road and St Georges Basin. Check out the palms, and the magnificent epiphytes adorning some majestic eucalypts. There is a 9km dirt rd to navigate, with a few potholes, but 4WD is not necessary. I love this area at sunset, and if you get the chance to be here at this time of day you won't be disappointed. You might disturb a few kangaroos, or a few fisherman casting off the shallows, but few others. Like other caches within the park, apparently there's no entry fee if you don't leave your vehicle. Of course, there's always the marine option! NB. Despite what Google Maps shows, there is no bridge from Sussex Inlet to Ellmoos Road. You are also close to my other cache, Kinda Echidna, while you're in the area, plus a couple of other caches in Booderee NP.
