Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW FOR THE REQUIREMENTS FOR LOGGING THIS CACHE AS A FIND.

Winter geocaching is fun! There are no bugs, no mud, no poison ivy, and very few muggles to contend with. This challenge is meant to inspire more people to get out there and have some geocaching fun in the snow!

Rules of this challenge:
(1) All of your finds must be FOUND DURING WINTER (December 21 to March 21, inclusive).

(2) Caches can be of any type: Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Night Caches etc. However, VIRTUALS (caches that do not have a physical container to find) DO NOT count towards this challenge.

(3) IMPORTANT: ONLY FINDS MADE AFTER THIS CACHE IS PUBLISHED WILL COUNT TOWARDS THE CHALLENGE! The purpose of this rule is to "level the playing field" among veteran cachers and newbies.

(4) You must find enough caches to total 100 stars. Both Difficulty and Terrain count! You can meet the challenge by finding 50 1/1 caches, or 10 5/5 caches, or any combination in between.

(5) You must list your qualifying caches in a log on this cache page, with Cache Name, GCXXX, Difficulty/Terrain Rating, make a bookmark of all of the caches you used plus this cache, or use some other method of listing your caches. Include the sum of the stars in your log. IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE A LIST WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF LOGGING THIS FIND, YOUR LOG WILL BE DELETED.

(6) The Difficulty & Terrain stars for this challenge cache can be used towards your total (if you find this cache during Winter)!

(7) You can visit the final and sign at anytime but you can not log your completion until you meet the logging requirements.

(8) You may log this cache as many times as you want, as long as you meet the challenge requirements each time.

The cache is a winter accessible lock-n-lock, and should not be hard to find. It is a few feet off a well-maintained trail in Tinker Nature Park. The Nature Center rents snowshoes sometimes, and this park is a great place to learn snowshoeing! The actual hide is D1.5/T1.5 and the D/T rating of this cache reflects the difficulty of meeting this challenge in wintertime.

Park hours are sunrise to sunset or as posted. Sorry, dogs are not allowed in this park.

There is a bison tube and unactivated TB tracking tags for the first person who both completes the challenge AND signs the cache log.

Now bundle up and go geocaching!
