Easy C & D
While out driving around with my Aunt Jean, we drove through this area. Evidently, before Hwy 85/87 and Interstate 25 were built to go up and over the rocky face South of Crow Junction at Colorado City Yes, I do remember a time before there was a Colorado City) the main road winded through this road. Depending on whether you are coming from the South or North, the old cafe and probably a gas and garage, is just South of the cache. It is all private property there now, but you can still see the old and worn "Shady Greenhorn" sign on the building. My Aunt, who is significantly older than I, remembers that the bus stopped at the cafe. I hope that all this doesn't bore you. I searched out this speciffically for one of my hides!
