The road that goes past this cache is very treacherous and narrow; it was used in many scenes in the LUCY movie, The Long Trailor. (The cache itself is off the Pacific Crest Trail.)
In the latter part of the Long Trailor Lucy has collected tons of rocks and thrown the vehicle off balance as it grinds up the road past this cache. The scenes are very dramatic and scary; I have driven this road, years ago and it was pretty intense. Now it is blocked by rocks (see sign).Watch for rattlers.
