From this area the old Kyeburn Public Library can be easily seen(Name still on door) In addition to this there was a school and tennis courts. There is still a hall. This area was a stopover point for the Cobb & Co coaches serving Naseby and the Otago interior. A short distance away from this site was old Maiseys Hotel which was lost to fire
