Choshi Station opened in June, 1897.
The ceiling of the station building is expensive,It converted the airplane hangar of the Katori air base of the old Japanese Navy just after the end of the war.
Currently, choshi Station departure and arrival of JR Narita Line, and, JR sobu line (choshi Station - Tokyo Station),and choshi electric railroad arrives and departs to Inubozaki and Togawa-cho.

銚子駅は１８９７年６月に開業した駅です。
駅舎の天井が高いのは、終戦直後に旧日本海軍の香取航空基地の飛行機格納庫を転用し、駅に改築したためです。
開業当時の開通区間は成東～銚子間でした。
現在では、ＪＲ総武本線（銚子駅～東京駅）のほか、ＪＲ成田線の発着駅ともなっており銚子市観光の玄関口になっています。
また、犬吠埼や外川町まで続く全長６．４kmの私鉄・銚子電気鉄道が発着し、市民や観光客が銚子駅を利用しています。
