gandry: As the hide for this cache has been 'opened up' by either NDCC or a vandal and the cache has definitely disappeared, and we are shortly leaving north Devon for pastures new it seems most appropriate to archive this listing to allow space for somebody else to cache a cache! Geocache Description:

This is(should be) an easy cache on the S.W. Coast Path just to the west of Westward Ho!. The coast path at this point runs on the alignment of the long removed Bideford and Appledore railway. You should (on a clear day) have good views over Bideford Bay and out to Lundy Island.
