Este cache esta colocado en el camino que bordea un segmento de los canales de riego en el municipioo de Isabela. Estos senderos de agua y veredas abundantes en flora y fauna con valor eco-turístico excepcional, han apoyado la agricultura y la producción de energía en Puerto Rico por casi un siglo.
Los canales de irrigación a recorrerse forman parte de un vasto sistema construido en 1927 que administra la División de Servicios de Riego, Represas y Embalses de la Autoridad de Energía Eléctrica (AEE) a lo largo de montes, valles y comunidades de toda la isla para alimentar sembrados y hogares de municipios varios de la costa norte: Isabela, Quebradillas, Moca y Aguadilla.
Cómo llegar:
Una vez llegue a la represa del Lago Guajataka y tenga el medidor del nivel de elevación del lago a su derecha, accesará la carretere PR-476 a su izquierda y le recorrerá completa hasta el final (sin desviarse a ninguno de los callejones). Llegará a un punto en el cual observará la verja que accesa el canal en frente suyo, una casa a su izquierda y un terreno a su derecha que se encuentra vacio en el cual usted puede estacionar su vehiculo.
Verá el espacio para pasar y comenzar a caminar bordeando el canal, continue a lo largo de este con mucho cuidado hasta llegar a un puente en las coordenadas: N18 24.710 W066 56.640, el cual usted cruzará y continuará su trayectoria por el otro lado del canal.
Ahora continue directo hasta llegar al GZ.

This cache is placed in the trail along a segment of the irrigation canals in municipioo Isabela. These trails and water trails abound in flora and fauna with unique eco-tourist value, have supported agriculture and energy production in Puerto Rico for nearly a century.
The irrigation canals to walk is part of a vast system built in 1927 that administers the Division of Irrigation, Dams and Reservoirs of the Electric Power Authority over mountains, valleys and communities across the island to feed crops and homes of several municipalities on the north coast: Isabela, Quebradillas, Aguadilla and Moca.
Getting There:
Once you reach the dam of Lake Guajataka and has the level meter elevation of the lake on your right, will access the road PR-476 on your left and you will travel go all the way (without deviating to any of the alley). At the final of the way you will see the accesses to the channel in front of you and a house on your left and a space on your right which is empty in which you can park your car.
You will see the space to move and walk along the channel, continue along this very carefully until you reach a bridge at coordinates: N18 24,710 W066 56,640, which you cross and continue your journey through the other side of the canal .
Now continue straight to get to GZ.
