vigilantia: Hallo Räubermäuse,
Mir ist aufgefallen, dass dieser Cache schon deutlich länger nicht gepflegt wurde, deaktiviert ist und/oder nicht gefunden wurde, als nur "ein paar Wochen", wie es die Richtlinien von Geocaching.com vorsehen.
Auch wenn Geocaching.com den Platz vorübergehend für dich reserviert und damit andere Caches in der näheren Umgebung fernhält, so kann dies letztlich nicht auf Dauer geschehen.

Im Interesse aller Cacher bitte ich dich um zeitnahe Pflege und Reaktivierung des Caches innerhalb der nächsten 30 Tage. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist könnte das Listing durch einen Reviewer archiviert werden.

Bitte geh folgendermaßen vor:

  • verfasse nach der Wartung bitte jeweils einen Log vom Typ „Owner maintenance“ UND "Enable Listing" um den Cache wieder als „gewartet“ und auffindbar auszuweisen
  • oder archiviere den Cache selbst per Log vom Typ "Archive" wenn Du Dich nicht mehr darum kümmern kannst / möchtest, bitte in diesem Falle an eventuell angefallenen Geomüll denken (z.B. Zwischenstationen von Multis).

Bitte poste regelmäßig (spätestens alle 4 Wochen) Statusinformationen zum Cache und (falls absehbar) den geplanten Aktivierungszeitpunkt als kurze Note im Listing. (bitte weder das Nachrichtencenter, noch Mails dafür verwenden!).
Das ist wichtig damit:

  1. Der Cache nicht mangels Rückmeldung archiviert wird.
  2. Alle Suchenden über den Zustand des Caches informiert sind.

Hello Räubermäuse!

I noticed that this cache has not been maintained, deactivated and/or not found for significantly longer than just "a few weeks" as per Geocaching.com's guidelines.
Even if Geocaching.com temporarily reserves the site for you and thus keeps other caches in the vicinity away, this ultimately cannot happen permanently.

In the interest of all cachers, I ask you to maintain and reactivate the cache promptly within the next 30 days. After this period, the listing could be archived by a reviewer..

Please proceed as follows:

  • please write a log of type "Owner maintenance" AND "Enable Listing "** after the maintenance to show the cache as "maintained" and findable again
  • or archive the cache yourself with a log of type "Archive" if you can't / don't want to take care of it anymore, in this case please think about possible geo garbage (e.g. stopovers of multis).

Please post regularly (at least every 4 weeks) status information about the cache and (if predictable) the planned activation time as a short note in the listing. (please do not use the message center nor emails for this!).
This is important so that:

  1. the cache is not archived for lack of feedback.
  2. all searchers are informed about the state of the cache.

* Geht respektvoll mit der Arbeit der Owner um.  Kein Cache ist wie der andere. Auch Loggeinträge sollten das nicht sein. 
* Jeder Cache bereitet dem Owner Arbeit, damit Ihr daran Freude habt. Macht den Ownern Freude, in dem auch Ihr Euch Mühe gebt. So bleiben die Lust an der Cachewartung und damit die Caches erhalten.
* Schreibt einen individuellen Loggeintrag, auch wenn der erst später folgt. Lieber spät als nie. 
* Emailbenachrichtigungen mit gleichlautendem Text für mehrere Caches sind nichts anderes als Spam und einfach nerv tötend.
