Chili Cook Off
|
|
Wow, can you believe it's time for another South
West Michigan Chili Cook Off. Each year I look forward to
tasting all the unique chili's that everybody creates. We've
had some really amazing chili's and I'm sure this year will be no
exception.
Whether you like it hot, white,
with lots of beans or something in between I'm sure you will find a
chili you like. Heck why not make a pot of your own to share
with others. Post to the page that your going to bring a pot
of chili, give it a name and we'll add you to the
list. The cook off will be limited to the first 10
people to respond with what type of chili they will be bringing. A
note posted to the cache page will work.
We'll have awards for following
categories:
Hottest
Best in
Presentation
Most Unique
Best Overall
he event page will
be updated with a list of who’s bringing
what. All preparation will need to be done
before hand and brought to the event in crock pots to keep it
warm. If your not into making chili, we would
welcome other food items or some 2 liters of
Non-alcoholic beverages for everyone to enjoy.
When making your
pot of chili, PLEASE make a pot large enough to serve approx.
175-200 people.
Serving size
approx. 1/4 cup
Each
year several people have run out early, so be sure to come prepared
for a BIG crowd.
