Solihull isn't the place you'd expect to find an African Heritage
Centre with a profusion of tropical plants but if you go along
Tythe Barn Lane on a hot summer's day you could find youself
sweating in a mini tropical forest at AKAMBA.
Not far from the entrance, if you're lucky, you may spy a small
tropical fruit hanging down around head height & this
(unusually for this fruit) contains a small cache and log
roll.
Please peel the fruit apart carefully - don't unwrap the wire - and
be sure to bring your own writing implement.
From the cache site you are obscured from the pavement and get a
good view of Highgate United's football pitch.
