Geocache Description:

In the valley below there is a fantastic youth soccer program. This cache goes out to all those who loves this sport.

Parking can be found at the listed coord's.

The kids today know a different "cut and paste" than what we had when we were their age. This cache uses our "cut and tape" method. A soccer ball is made of 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons. From either the link below or from the picture, use scissors to cut out the 20 hexagons shown below. Align the edges of two hexagons with corresponding letters,(A A to A A; D D to D D ect.) and tape them together. After completing your soccer ball, find the letter N and following the arrows, read off the latitude coordinates. Repeat with the W for the longitude.

This land is part of the Cotton Hill State Forest. Hunting is allowed here so please wear appropriate colored clothing.

This cache was placed in accordance with the DEC guidelines “Part 190: Use Of State Lands”.
"1. a geocache that is labeled with the owner's name and address and installed in a manner that does not disturb the natural conditions of the site or injure a tree;"
