Geocache Description:


The Royal Wellington Golf Club

The location of this cache will bring you to the eastern border of the Royal Wellington Golf Club (Est 1895), where a tributary to the Hutt River provides a boundary to one of the many pristine fairways of this exclusive Golf Club. As you walk along enjoying the birdlife that inhabit this waterway, remember to keep a wary eye out for any errant golf balls that may be heading in your direction!

About the cache
The cache is a small-sized camo'd container with room for a logsheet only. Best bring your own writing stick if you wish to log your find. To retrieve the cache you are not required to go onto the private land owned by the Golf Club.

About the location
To get to the cache location, proceed to the end of Kiwi Street and walk along the flood protection stopbank until you get to the GZ. Parking is available in Kiwi Street if you arrive by car.

I am using a log sheet for all Geocachers to record their success, and when it is full, I will scan the logsheet and attach its image to this cache entry as an archive! Please let me know when the logsheet is nearing maintenance time and I will supply a new sheet.
