This cache is to celebrate the unique fraternity of geocachers. It is meant to be a sure find and an opportunity to log your experiences with other cachers you've encountered as you feed your addiction.
Parking is nearby on the way to the Bismarkturm. You can drive to within about 80m of the cache.
I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world and extensively throughout the United States. One of the first things I do when arriving at a new place is look up nearby caches. It becomes evident who the active cachers are by the caches they've hidden in the area. I have been extremely fortunate to meet some simply awesome people - none more so than right here in Germany: gunrunner762 helped me get plugged into the caching network; ElMistico translated one of my caches from English to German; and a true gracious and generous host, Team Golfpro who has carted me all over the place to help me achieve my caching goals and getting me out and about to enjoy the local scenery.
It a really neat thing we're all a part of - I will continue to pay your hospitatilty forward to other members of our fraternity. In fact, due to my present duties in the military, if I am called away - Team Golfpro has offered to keep an eye on it for me.
The signal was a little spotty, so I figure there may be about a 20m variance from GZ. The container is in plain sight and using the hint, you can't miss.
The cache is a decon container and has no pen, so bring your own.
Mit diesem Cache wird die einzigartige Bruderschaft der Geocacher gefeiert. Er soll einfach zu finden sein und eine Gelegenheit, um Deine Erfahrungen mit anderen Cachern, denen Du beim Ausleben Deiner sucht begegnest. Es gibt einen Parkplatz in der Nähe des Caches auf dem Weg zum Bismarkturm. Du kannst bis 80m an den Cache heranfahren. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit um die ganze Welt zu reisen, besonders durch die USA. Eines der ersten Dinge, die ich mache, wenn ich irgendwo ankomme, ist nach Caches in der Nähe zu suchen. Es zeigt sich, wer die aktiven Cacher sind, wenn man sich ansieht, wer Caches in der Gegend versteckt. Ich hatte das Glück großartige Leute zu treffen – viele hier in Deutschland. Gunrunner762 half mir in das Netzwerk zu kommen; ElMistico hat einen meiner Caches ins deutsche übersetzt und ein wahrhaft freundlicher und großzügiger Gastgeber war Team Golfpro, der mich überall hingefahren hat, um meine Cache-Ziele zu erreichen und der mit mir unterwegs war, um die schöne Gegend zu geniesen.
Es ist eine tolle Sache, an der wir teilhaben – ich werde Eure Gastfreundschaft an andere Mitglieder unserer Gemeinschaft weitergeben. Wegen meiner militärischen Pflichten muss ich gehen – Team Golfpro wird für mich nach dem Rechten sehen.
Das Signal war schlecht, die Koordinaten könnten um 20m abweichen. Der Container ist frei sichtbar und wenn man den Hint benutzt, kann man ihn nicht verfehlen.
Der Cache ist eine kleine Box und hat keinen Stift.
