Chattahoochee Council Scouting for Treasure. Race to 2010. For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.

Chattahoochee Council Scouting for Treasure. Cache initially contains the Race to 2010 Travel Tag attached to a pinewood derby car. We will be launching more throughout 2010. Cache to Cub Scouts: The Cub Scout program in the US began in 1930 and currently is open to boys in 1st through 5th grades. This Cub Scouts offers fun and challenging experiences that inspire confidence and teach important values. Cub Scout geocaching is an important addition to the Scout program. This cache is designed with the Cub Scout and other young children in mind. Please leave appropriate toys and ?swag? for young people of all programs. Action! Boy Scouts: The Boy Scout program in the US began in 1910 and currently is open to boys ages 11-18. Boys learn and grow through the experiences of camping, hiking, building projects, and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork. It’s also a lot of fun! The skills learned in Scouting help young men overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout their lives. Geocaching offers a new opportunity for the Boy Scouts to experience the outdoors while honing their Scouting skills. This cache is placed in honor of all young people in hopes that they will also take this opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. AdVenturing Crew: The Venturing program is open to young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. It is a unique program because it uses extreme outdoor adventure and other Crewfocused activities as a method for building character, peer-to-peer bonds, and independence. Geocaching Crews are a great addition to the Venturing Program! This cache is placed in hopes that all young men and women will venture forth to do great things. ? Volunteer Quest: Scouting volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but all are committed to one thing — leading youth to become responsible, caring, and competent citizens. This cache is to honor the countless hours given to youth by volunteers of any organization. THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE — this cache is for you!
