Geocache Description:

A micro cache just above the main section of Tel Aviv beach promenade.

During its early years, Tel Aviv has turned its back to the sea, and neglected to develop one of its main treasures. While the beach strip is still very narrow, because of the massive construction along the shore during the first 70 years of the city, things are changing. Many efforts are been exerted to make the beaches and their immediate environment inviting. Mayor Shlomo Lahat initiated this work, and the promenade is named after him.

Today, one can enjoy walking, running or riding along the beach, all the way from Tel Aviv port in the north, with its tens of shopping and dining opportunities, to Old Jaffa in the south.

The nano cache is located above the beach promenade, just north of the Sheraton hotel. Sit down, enjoy the view of the sea, and grab the cache. Then, go down to the promenade, and if you go north, the promenade will lead you to Tel Aviv Small TB Hotel..
