The Silverspring subdivision of Saskatoon was constructed after 1988. Many of the roadway in the area were named in honour of famous athletes.

Haslam Crescent. To honour Phyllis Haslam. A champion swimmer.
Carr Crescent. Named in memory of Denny Carr, A local radio personality.
Coben Crescent. In honour of Colin Cobin who excelled at golf.
