Geocache Description:

Park in the obvious area to the south. Hike the obvious trail across the bridge - enjoy the forest. The coastal forest west of the redwoods is dominated by Spruce, Grand fir and Douglas-fir. Take the time to enjoy the forest before you reach the view of the sea.

After you find the cache look around you. You will not be able to see anything made by man. This is a gem of wilderness nestled on the edge of the sea.

Before you leave go to N41 3.968 W124 8.995. You will see a beautiful beach complete with a waterfall that spills in the spring. The cache was placed in memory of my wife Wendy who lost her battle with cancer on November 29, 2008. This was one of our favorite places. We spent many hours here sunning, swimming and enjoying life with our family, Wendy will always be there with us.
