The Towpath follows the Black River Canal.
Now it's leased by BREIA, and open to the public for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking,running and walking.
The cache is 1.2 miles from the gate on the Boonville end. Parking is available at the Search and Rescue building .1 miles north of gate, behind the plaza and Highway dept. off of rt. 12 .
Cache is a small round plastic container.
It is just off the trail.
PLEASE, when the ski trails are operational, ski or snowshoe only.
