Located in Kempers Woods, a parcel of land generously donated to the Chippewa Conservancy by Dr. Charles Kemper.
While White Pine, Red Pine, Jackpine, Firs and Cedar are all common species of evergreens in our great state of Wisconsin, the Norway Spruce is native but not as common especially here in the temperate forest region of Western WI. Seeing a stand here in Kempers Woods was kind of neat, so I commemorated the occasion by sticking a geocache in the middle of it. It's what I do ;)
