Another route best reached by bicycle, not far from the Rustenburg Kloof. Checked on 18 August 2014, now a container within a container for extra protection. Bring your own pen.
The cache is a pill container of 200 ml, on the ground under some rocks.
This is the second in the Velo series. These are circular trips or routes in the Rustenburg region. Designed to be done mountain bike but can be easily reached in an average salon car; they are all roadside caches. (Look out for Blokkloof, Bokfontein, Oorsaak, Derby and Buffelshoek, all to be published soon)

This ride is best done early on a Sunday morning when the road traffic is lighter and less dangerous. Ride off-road if the traffic becomes too heavy. You need to find Kremetart avenue and follow this to Watsonia avenue: here a left turn takes you under the N4 toll road to the Rustenburg Kloof and a right turn leads to your next turn at

Where a left takes you between 14 pillars! And another sharp left…Ride QUIETLY past the Royal road to your destination. The return trip is exhilarating.
