Geocache Description:

Small cache in a less visited portion of Prospect Hill Park.

This cache is located in a less-visited portion of Prospect Hill Park. Trails lead you to within 20 ft of the cache. There is a very small amount of bushwhacking required to reach the cache. Depending upon your approach, you could be descending from the top of the hill, or coming from the nearby neighborhood. There is a rock staircase involved if you approach from the top of the hill, but not the bottom. The cache is not stroller friendly, but shouldn't be a problem for children provided that they're somewhat accustomed to hiking. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO SCRAMBLE ALONG ANY LEDGES OR PUT YOURSELF IN A DANGEROUS POSITION. Note: In snowy weather, or wet leafy weather, the rock staircase my be slippery/icy. In the summer there can be thorns or P.I. near the cache.

Prospect Hill Park is a great park in Waltham. Here's some history on it: (visit link)

Feel free to bring your dog!
