Ngamotu Domain (Taranaki) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Growly Bear: As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

There is plenty of parking in this area, and if you're bringing children, it's a good idea to bring along a ball to kick around, as there's two big flat fields of grass nearby.

To get to the area where the cache is, go from the main car park, walk along the middle of the field until you reach the clearing of trees. Follow this path until you end up at another (albeit much smaller) field. There is a steep(ish) hill on this path, and it would not be suitable for prams, bikes and similar things.

Cache is a 2 liter clear sistema container.

Original cache contents are:

Logbook + pen
Little notepad with a cute bunny printed on each page
Piano themed rubber
4x4x4 rubix cube
Toy mouse (ideal for a cat)
Word puzzle
SD Card

If you have a digital camera, bring it along and put the SD card in, then take a photo of yourself or anything you think is interesting. When you're done, place it back in the cache. Once the SD card is full, I will publish all the photos on here. This is, of course, optional. Avoid coming from 5-7pm on Wednesday nights, and 1-3:30pm on Sundays, as this is when the Greenwood archery club uses the field for practice.

Please place the cache back as you found it, including anything around it. No bush bashing is required, nor do you have to go into the bush.

When searching, please be careful - there is often glass around here, due to it being a popular spot for teenage drinkers.

FTF honours go to capella8.
