Geocache Description:

You could reach this cache by parking off Petrovitsky and swim across the creek, but I would recommend that you park at the trailhead (N 47 25.575, W 122 04.852) and go for a nice 3/4 mile hike along a trail. The trail is overgrown and muddy in spots. Rubber boots will be necessary in the rainy months and maybe even in the "dry" months. Dogs will like this hike.

This cache is in the same vicinity as an archived cache (GC123RF). This cache was archived before I started geocaching, so I cannot verify its exact location.

From the trailhead/parking, go east into the forest. Stay right at the junction (the left junction is almost overgrown). At the power lines, go down the hill towards the lake and then towards the forest by the outlet. You will then cross a swampy/muddy area until you get back onto dry land. The cache is an ammo container.

The GPSr is sketchy under the trees and you may find a better reception by going out in the open by the creek. Watch for deep water holes.

An unactivated Travel Bug is included as a FTF price.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RUNSWITHGOLDENS ON BEING THE FTF!!
