Geocache Description:

Cache is located between the Mavora Lakes, a beautiful area known and used merely by locals. Reason might be, that tourists head for the Milford/Doubtful asap or people are scared off by the 30km gravel road access. Anyways, I spent here two nights away from the crowds and loved it. When you come to visit the cache, take your time to drive to the end of the road (less then five minutes more) and have a break at the lake. There are many more scenic stops possible on the access road as well.

As the visit of the cache itself is rewarding enough, the search for it is meant to be as easy as possible. So details for that follow now
Take the turn-off from the acces road as mentioned in the waypoints (you will find it without, to!). cross the bridge and look for a root next to the left stairs.
The container is little bit larger than a film container and is black taped. It contains a logbook only but could probably fit some smaller coins as well.
There is no pen inside, so BRING YOUR OWN PEN!

Sorry for putting such a simple container and only a logbook, but I didn't plan to place a cache until I was there, so I took what I had... ;-)

Enjoy your stay!
