Matusige lock gate is the one made along with the operation of the Nakagawa canal done as a business of the Nagoya city planning initial in 1930.
This lock gate connected Horikawa with the Nakagawa canal and played the role to make the boat sail while adjusting the water-level difference of both canals.
However, the freight transportation form would shift to the truck transportation in the latter half of the 1955's, and the effect was abolished in 1976.
The citizens are familiar with four towers with exotic atmosphere as a valuable building where the traffic of Nagoya, industry, and the history of the city planning are told.
Cashe is concealed somewhere in the park.

松重閘門は、名古屋都市計画初期の事業として行われた中川運河の開さくに伴い、昭和5年に作られたものです。
この閘門は堀川と中川運河を結び両運河の水位差を調整しながら舟を航行させる役割を果たしていました。
しかし、昭和30年代の後半から貨物輸送形態が自動車輸送に移行することになり、昭和５１年には効用が廃止されました。
エキゾチックな雰囲気を持つ４基の塔は名古屋の交通、産業、都市計画の歴史を物語る貴重な建造物として市民の皆さんに親しまれています。
キャッシュは公園のどこかに隠されています。
