A traditional cache placed on an old railway line now converted into a walkway/cycleway. It replaces the original cache which disappeared following the upgrading of the path surface at the end of 2009 and associated vegetation clearance.
The Harborne railway line was a branch of the London and North Western Railway which ran from Harborne Junction near Winson Green to Harborne Village, with stations at Hagley Road, Rotton Park Road and Icknield Port Road. It closed to passengers soon after the Beeching Report of 1963 but continued as a freight line to Harborne Coal Depot until the 1970's. Since then it has been converted into a well-used cyclepath and walkway, whose surface was upgraded at the end of 2009.
The cache is available 24/7 but access at night isn't recommended due to hostile muggles. This is also a muggle-rich environment by day so take care when finding and replacing the cache.
As a result of another disappearance of the tupperware container, the cache is now a magnetic key holder.
