Geocache Description:

**new coordinates *** N 44° 28.535 W 087° 57.235 ** containers have been stolen too many times. Please cover to hide after your find. Although this is a dead-end cache, if you look to the left you can see where kids graduate from Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran High School for a new beginning.

It's bridge to the next stage of life. The seeds for the creation of Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran High School were sown during the summer of 1975 when two interested parties were moved to determine the feasibility of starting a Lutheran high school in the Green Bay area. They conducted a survey which revealed sufficient interest in Lutheran secondary education to warrant proceeding. Out of a meeting at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, a steering committee was formed, and NEWLHS was on its way to becoming a reality. In 1977, the school started out with 34 students while located at Pilgrim Lutheran School. The school changed locations three other times before settling in at its current location in 1993. NEWLHS was awarded the Red Quill Award in 2008 by the American College Testing (ACT) Corporation for consistently achieving high test scores in the last three years. Only seventeen schools in the entire nation earned this coveted award in 2008. (cache approved by Executive Director Chris Nelson)
