A short trail in a nice little park in South Portland
Wilkinson Park is a small park located in South Portland with a short trail that eventually connects into the Green Belt. The park is located at the end of New York Avenue. Parking is along the street near the park.
As the cache title notes this cache and two others like it along the trail are micros (actually two micros and a nano). That means bring your own pen (BYOP). Due to the cache containers size there is no room for a FTF prize on this series. A nice snowshoe/walk down a new trail is your prize. Round trip for caches is under a mile.
All the caches were placed before the recent snowfall of 1/18/10 but they are winter friendly. I have posted the coordinates for the beginning of the trail which is behind the second ball field.
The trail is fairly wet in the spring and fall. Dawn to Dusk only.
