Nancy Greene's
Reign

Welcome to the Nancy Greene Summit, which is now
also called Strawberry Pass, which is what it was called in the
days before Nancy Greene’s reign as an Olympic champion,
winning both Silver and Gold medals...This is the highest point
between Rossland and Nancy Greene Lake (go
figure).
Red Mountain
has produced two Olympic downhill skiing champions, Nancy Greene
Raine and Kerrin-Lee Gartner. To find
this cache, you will need to research one quick fact ahead of time
on each of these people.
Both of these women won medals in
downhill ski racing. Nancy Greene Raine is now a
senator and is closely linked to the development of the Sun Peaks
Resort, and Kerrin Lee-Gartner devotes her time to a
number of charitable causes, and will be reporting for the BBC
during the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
