Geocache Description:

A small cache away from where most people go to look over the upper Firth of Clyde, taking in the whole of of the seaside town of Largs, the Cumbraes, the southern part of Bute, the East side of Arran and over to north Kintyre. On a good day you can see Ailsa Craig to the south and on even better days the Paps of Jura. The cache is a small container with a few swappables.

There are two options to get to the cache. First is park at the Haylie Brae picnic site carpark on the A760. The trail from the carpark is fairly solid until the kissing gate, then it's just open land. There is a trail which can be seen easily, caused by many people using it to get to the viewpoint. Good footwear advised. The second involves starting from Douglas Park on Irvine Road (the A78) and walking up to it. I believe it is signposted, but cannot confirm this. This is quite hard going as it is steep and involves a lot of steps. Again, good footwear is advised. The difficulty rating of three has been attributed to walking in from the Haylie Brae carpark.
